How did you teach Beans to allow you to handle her this way? She was so accepting! I’m wondering how a d’Uccle would handle that…
Hi Jan – Bean is naturally pretty calm. When she was little, she had curled toes, so we had to handle her a lot to help straighten them out. So, that helped. But Silkies are naturally pretty tame. I have some d’Uccles. They’re very quiet too, so yours might like a bath. Mine are still chicks (10 weeks old), so I haven’t tried bathing them yet. They’re very docile, though.
